What Is The Trick To Making Cake Pops?
So, what’s the trick to making the perfect Christmas cake pop?
The main thing is to make sure you chill them well before dipping. I didn’t chill the first batch I ever made and they completely crumbled apart.
You could even put the mixture in the fridge a day in advance, if you want to be extra sure they won’t crack.
After you have chilled the balls of dough re-roll them slightly to make sure they are completely round. Once you have done this, they’re ready to dip.
The final thing is to stick them in a polystyrene block while you let them dry. If you don’t have a polystyrene block then you could just put the ends of the sticks in some blue tack or plasticine.

And there you go, a wonderful selection of super fun Christmas cake pops the whole family will enjoy.
