What Is The Trick To Making Cake Pops?
Finally as promised, the answer to that key question: what’s the trick to making the perfect Christmas cake pop?
The main thing is to chill them well before dipping. I didn’t chill the first batch I ever made and they completely crumbled apart.
You could even put the mixture in the fridge a day in advance, to be extra sure they won’t crack.
After you have chilled the balls of dough re-roll them slightly to make sure they are completely round. They are then ready to dip.
My final tip is to stick them in a polystyrene block while you let them dry. If you don’t have one you could the sticks in blue tack or plasticine.
And there you go, a wonderful selection of super fun Christmas cake pops the whole family will enjoy.
