Just 10 Things – 50 Bathroom Bits & Bobs

July 12, 2018 by Alice Leave a Comment

Stop trying to organize all your bathroom clutter. Let go of all the bathroom bits and bobs you're not using and enjoy the peace and calm of a clutter free bathroom. #declutter #just10things #happierwithout

Bathroom’s are for cleaning.

Obviously.

BUT they too easily become grotty.

Don’t they?

And then we don’t get the pleasure of feeling clean.

Do we?

Now we could be ever so good.

And scrub and polish them daily.

BUT that’s not going to happen.

Is it?

So we need to be EASY on ourselves.

And clear out ALL the random yucky bits and bobs that have taken over our bathrooms.

AND made them so hard to keep nice …

If you’re following along with my quick daily declutter, read on. BUT if you’re new do hop back and read how just 10 things can help you declutter easily.

Just 10 Things  – Bathroom Bits & Bobs

As always we’ll stick to the just 10 things rules:

  • Take 5 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
  • Focus on all those bathroom bits & bobs
  • Open our eyes to grot!!
  • And without yanking stuff out
  • Spot any we’re ready to let go

Keeping our eyes peeled for …

  1. Bath toys
  2. Bath hats
  3. Wash bags
  4. Mirrors
  5. Scales
  6. Shower curtains
  7. Caddies & baskets
  8. Soap dishes & dispensers
  9. Shower & bath racks
  10. Tooth brush mugs

If they’re mouldy and manky, let them go.

The bathroom will feel instantly cleaner without them.

AND will be easier to keep clean.

With only a little bit of effort.

Let go of as much as you can.

But remember, everything counts.

It all adds up day by day.

AND every day it becomes easier to kick out clutter.

But for an extra little nudge read on.

A Little Nudge

Now I don’t want to be a Scrooge.

Bath toys are fun.

BUT we had a huge bucket of them.

Seriously huge.

And ALL the ones at the bottom were gross.

So I dutifully searched Pinterest for tips.

And found “oh hurrah” I can dishwasher them with vinegar.

Wonderful.

Except it doesn’t really get the mould off.

So you have to rub. And poke.

And finally give in. And ditch some.

BUT of course the grimmest ones are those your kids love most.

So then you get in a right dilemma.

Shall I break their heart? Or poison them with black mould?

AND before you know it.

You’ve spent a precious evening WASHING bath toys!!!!

I mean come on. What are we doing to ourselves??!!

3, 4, 5 bath toys. Fine.

But WHEN we’re searching Pinterest for clever solutions.

The REAL answer – I know now – is ALWAYS declutter!!

I hope today's gentle declutter prompt helped.
