Something's wrong isn't it?
When Pinterest is FULL of clever hacks.
For storing food wrap!!!
I mean, come on.
This stuff is meant to make life easy.
BUT instead.
We're spending our precious time hunting down storage solutions.
AND our precious money buying them.
NOT to mention the fact.
That use-once food wrap - lots of it plastic - is a bag baddie for the planet.
So today let's look at our food wrap.
Could we NOT make do with just one roll?
If you're following along with my quick daily declutter, read on. BUT if you're new do hop back and read how just 10 things can help you declutter easily.
Just 10 Things - Food Wrap
As always we'll stick to the just 10 things rules:
- Take 5 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
- Focus on food wrap
- Open our eyes to stuff we don't use OR could make do without
- And without yanking stuff out
- Spot any we're ready to let go
Look out for any of these ...
- Kitchen roll
- Foil
- Cling film
- Greaseproof paper
- Baking parchment
- Bag clips
- Snack bags
- Freezer bags
- Ice cube bags
- Foil trays
And you don't just have to ditch them.
Offer to a neighbour. Or your kids school for crafts.
Or offer on a Facebook freecycle group.
AND decide today.
What you're going to STOP buying.
BECAUSE you can make do without.
AND life is too short to spend time faffing about food wrap storage.
A HUGE well done for anything you let go.
If you've been following along everyday you've completed a whole FOUR weeks of daily declutters.
Whoop whoop!!
AND you've made decluttering an easy habit.
From now on.
It's going to get easier and easier to let go.
And reclaim your home from clutter.
BUT for an extra nudge read on.
A Little Nudge
We hear lots about waste.
And how throw away stuff hurts the planet.
And it does.
BUT it also hurts us.
All those throw away consumables steal our space.
AND steal our money.
And all those tiny little things we come to believe we need keep us shopping.
And shopping. And shopping. And shopping.
Even though it doesn't make us happy.
Making do. Needing less.
Is a super powerful way to kick our shopping habit.
AND save cash.
AND keep clutter out!
