Laundry it's endless isn't it?
AND expensive.
Powders. Liquids. Conditioners. All add up.
So it makes sense to stockpile.
Doesn't it?
To snag a bargain when it's on offer.
Sometimes yep.
And yep, some people are great at it.
BUT most of us are NOT stockpiling.
We're shopping addictively.
And hoarding huge amounts of laundry stuff.
That just takes up space.
And actually costs us MORE ...
So today we're going to look at our laundry stuff and clean up so we're not running a small warehouse in the laundry cupboard!
If you're following along with my quick daily declutter, read on. BUT if you're new do hop back and read how just 10 things can help you declutter easily.
Just 10 Things - Laundry
As always we'll stick to the just 10 things rules:
- Take 5 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
- Focus on laundry stuff
- Open our eyes to how much we've got AND just how much space its taking up
And spot quickly any of these we're NOT using OR we've got so much of it's causing a problem ...
- Stain removers
- Scent boosters
- Whiteners
- Colour catchers
- Laundry powder
- Laundry liquid
- Fabric conditioner
- Laundry bags
- Delicates bags
- Laundry baskets
Now we don't want to just ditch stuff.
It cost us good money.
And there's almost certainly someone locally who will buy excess off us.
And it's not just laundry is it?
We have LOTS of excess stuff.
So finding good local channels to sell it on is super helpful. And worth investing time in.
Ask around. Chat to neighbours.
Local Facebook groups are fab for this stuff.
Now.
You might not let too much go today.
But we need to start questioning our bargains.
Because for many of us they're very expensive. And stockpiling is NOT the answer.
