Whoop whoop!
It’s the holidays.
Time to pack.
And stuff our cases full of travel books.
Or actually NOT.
Because they’re far too heavy.
AND mostly out of date.
And ALL the information we need.
Is online.
So why exactly do we still have these travel books?
Clogging up shelves.
Or in boxes. Under beds. And in the attic.
No. I’m not sure either.
So today we’re going to let some go …
If you’re following along with my quick daily declutter, read on. BUT if you’re new do hop back and read how just 10 things can help you declutter easily.
Just 10 Things – Travel Books
We’ll stick to the just 10 things rules:
- Take 5 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
- Focus on travel books
- Open our eyes all those out of date or online
- And without yanking stuff out
- Spot any we’re ready to let go
Keeping our eyes peeled for …
- Guides
- Maps
- A to Z street guides
- Atlases
- Restaurant guides
- Hotel guides
- Phrase books
- Coffee table books
- Timetables
- Travel writing
Remember.
We’re not trying to ditch the lot.
Just quickly letting go of those we’re ready to.
Because IF we do let go of 10 today.
And 10 other books tomorrow.
And 10 more different ones again the next.
That’s 30 books.
That’s a lot of book shelf. A lot of space.
To better show off the books we will look at and enjoy again
