Is there anything worse?
Than a badly fitting bra.
Whether it leaves you sagging.
Or bulging out the sides 😉
Barely able to breathe.
It sets you up for a bad day doesn’t it?
So obviously we wear our faves.
Lots.
And leave ALL the others … obviously … cluttering up our drawers.
UNTIL the end of time.
Despite the fact.
The sight of them every day – grotty and grey and saggy – is more than slightly depressing.
So today let’s put a smile our our face.
Say goodbye to grotty bras.
And let go of those we don’t wear.
If you’re following along with my quick daily declutter, read on. BUT if you’re new do hop back and read how just 10 things can help you declutter easily.
Just 10 Things – Bras
We’ll stick to the just 10 things rules today:
- Take 5 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
- Focus on our bras
- Open our eyes to the grotty ones
- And without yanking them all out
- Spot any we’re ready to let go
Keeping our eyes peeled for all of these …
- Saggy
- Too tight
- Too loose
- Too skimpy
- Grotty grey
- Plain uncomfy
- Missing hooks
- Multiway … when you really don’t do bare back and shoulders these days
- Maternity … when all your kids are at school
- Padded … when it feels like sock stuffing
If they’re in good condition but just not right for you, you may be able to donate to a local refuge.
Otherwise try to drop them off at your local fabric recycling.
If you’re in the UK you can drop them off in Marks & Spencer.
They are reused and recycled and the money goes to Oxfam.
Now this is one of those days you might not hit 10 things.
Great if you do. But don’t worry if not.
Those little things every day ALL add up.
If you’ve followed each daily declutter prompt and let go of roughly 10 things every day, you will ALREADY have over 500 less things in your house!
WOW!
That’s pretty awesome isn’t it?
Well done.
